AGV K5 S Solid Helmet
In an unwavering quest for sport touring perfection, AGV re-examined the already stellar ergonomics of the acclaimed K5 helmet, tore it apart and completely overhauled it from the inside out. I guess "good enough" doesn't translate well into Italian. The AGV K5 S helmet features an innovative comfort liner that uses a unique combination of high-performance Ritmo and Shalimar fabrics treated with Microsense with moisture-wicking and antimicrobial properties. The meticulous composition takes care to avoid seams in sensitive areas, so there are no seams to cause discomfort. The Integrated Ventilation System vents are recessed and the integrated spoiler is molded into the carbon fiber and fiberglass shell for a seamless design optimized for high-speed aerodynamic stability. FEATURES:
Outer shell is constructed of CAF (carbon fiberglass) and is manufactured in 2 sizes.
EPS inner liner available in 4 sizes with 4 different densities.
Shell and EPS dimensions are optimized using FEM (Finite Element Analysis).
Ventilation system: IVS consisting of a chin protection vent, 2 front air vents and an exhaust vent with rear on/off switch
Central front air vent integrated into the shell profile with direct high airflow channel
Rear spoiler integrated into the shell profile.
Removable and washable liner and cheek pads.
Neck roll is made of Shalimar fabric with a water-resistant treatment that prevents water from channeling into the helmet
Cheek pads made from Ritmo fabric with disinfected antibacterial treatment, 2D moisture wicking and Microsense treatments
Crown pad made of Shalimar fabric with disinfected antibacterial treatment, 2D moisture wicking and Microsense treatments
Includes removable nose pad and wind shield
Face shield is made of scratch-resistant, anti-fog polycarbonate with 100% UV protection and is offered in 2 sizes depending on helmet size
GT 2-1 for helmet sizes XS, SM and MS and GT 2 for helmet sizes ML, LG, XL and 2XL
Face shield is pinlock ready
Pinlock insert lens included
Visor micro-opening system.
XQRS visor mechanism (additional quick release system) for quick visor removal
